Ferrarini's Farm
Everything started here
For generations, the Ferrarini family has been tied to the land, from which it has inherited the production philosophy that still today guides the manufacture of products that bring with them all the taste of their land of origin.
Every year, the fields of our farm produce enough forage to obtain 30,000 bales of hay and give a healthy diet to our 3,000 cows, which produce 15,000,000 litres of milk a year.
The Ferrarini Farms represent the heart of the Farm business, with over 1,900 hectares of lands that stretch across the plains in the Reggio province and the Emilian Apennines.
The Farm where the Ferrarini Group had its beginnings still provides great support to its industrial activity, above all through the production of some typical products such as Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, Balsamic Vinegar and Wines.
GMO free Parmigiano Reggiano
Ferrarini Parmigiano Reggiano PDO is produced only with the milk of cows fed with forage grown on the Ferrarini Farms.
The Ferrarini Farm controls the entire production chain through certified quality systems.
Balsamic Vinegar
The great passion of the Ferrarini Family is behind two Ferrarini Balsamic Vinegars: Modena Balsamic Vinegar PGI and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia PDO. These products with a millennial tradition bring with them a know-how made of craftsmanship and a long wait.
Organic Wines
The 35 hectares of the Ferrarini Estates vineyards are spread across the limestone hills of Reggio Emilia and today, thanks to the transition from traditional to organic cultivation over the course of three years, they have earned the designation of organic cultivation.
The combination of this special cultivation system and the great passion of our oenologists has enabled us to enhance local grape varieties such as Lambrusco Doc, Malbo Gentile, and Spergola, and to introduce international grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot and Sauvignon.
